Pup advise needed

I have a MIM Strat that I want to mod with a 59 in the neck but I'm undecided on the bridge. I have a new jb layin around not doing anything but I'm afraid that it will be too bright in this guitar. I thought about the Custom but the same thought came, too bright. I'm now leaning towards a CC but I'm not too sure of it. I tried a CC in my American Standard and it "honked" too much for my taste. I already have a 59/59 strat that I love. I want this guitar to be a little different. I play a lot of progressive rock (at home) and play in a versitle band (top 40, country, rock) so versitily is important. I need good cleans and be able to go over the top to keep my own sanity. Any suggestions??

I'm trying a custom in my bridge....just wire it to a tone control and put in a 500k pot (n the tone control, leave the volume 250k)...that's what I'm trying in 1-2 months....you can be my puppet

try the jb first because it wont cost you anything. after that try something in the custom line (custom, custom 5 , customcustom)
