PUP combo opinion needed....

Hi all
I am contemplating installing an all SD high output pups for my newly acquired used Ibanez. The pups that comes to mind are - Parallel Axis Distortion in bridge, Hot Rails (bridge) in middle and P-Rails (neck)
in neck position.
Base on the EQ graph of these pups, it seems like an 'all rounder metal monster' sound. I already had good experience with the axis and hot rails but I have yet to hear the P-Rails personally tho.

So guys, what do you think of this combo? Will it complements each other? Or will it sound crap?

Each pickup will for sure sound great on its own and I'll bet you'll get some interesting in between sounds too. That sounds like a really cool rock combo. I'd go for it. I just finished working on my hsh where I did the same thing and just threw together some pups I like and it works well.

I might actually choose the Hot Rails neck for the middle position. And consider running it in parallel, or have it switchable in parallel for a more open, better blending sound.

Thanks. That really gives me the assurance I needed.

Haha... I agree. I think hot rails neck would be a better option bcoz it will give me a better gradual volume output curve. Its juz that I don't wanna waste & shelf my existing hot rails brdge.
