Will those pole piece screws fit a Dimarzio Super Distortion? What magnet would you recomend to make one more vintage for the neck position? Otherwise I hate this pickup and would like to experiment with it!

Never heard of ceramic 8. Is it just a regular ceramic?

They should. They are spec'd for USA made buckers.

The C8 is slightly brighter from what I understand. I never tried one, but my rep claims they are very close to a C5.

Thoes screws won't fit, they're 5-40 Filister head. A Super Distortion uses 10-32 headless set-screws.
