PUP selection for "Cooder-LapCaster"

I'm partway into my lap steel guitar build based on a Cooder-Caster; 25-1/2" scale, 6 string, string-through bridge. It's time to think about PUPs:

For the bridge I'm 95% leaning towards the string-through steel:

I don't know enough about matching neck PUPs to bridge PUPs, compatibility, &tc.
