P’ups for Antichrist Superstar tones

Hey, guys! I’ve long admired the guitar tones of Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar. Which of Duncan’s metal-oriented pickups would be best for copping those tones on a Les Paul Custom? Thanks!

There were so many different guitarists on that album, it's hard to pin one particular sound down.

There a lot of keyboard mimicking the guitar tone as well, but you end up with this industrial sound between guitars and keyboards.

I'd probably lean toward a Duncan Distortion or Custom maybe but kinda hard to say. It's def hot and fizzy in a lot of the tracks, that would lead me more to the ceramic mag'ed choices above.

id think duncan distortion for those tones, amp will make a big difference

I understand they were using a Marshall JMP pre-amp.

I was thinking something with a brighter high-end. So, like Hsb mentioned, my vote would be either Distortion or Custom.

But it's going to be very amp-dependant too. I think it's a very industrial kinda sound. But I think something with a brighter high-end like a Distortion or a Custom would help you get there more easily as opposed to the Invader which is fatter and rounder.
