Pups for djent

Hi guys, so I just get a secondhand Washburn solar PX 160 C with alder body and maple neck, plays very nicely. The pups that come with it are duncan designed, which I have no complaint about. But I'm looking for pups set that could handle djent well, hope you guys could give your best recommendation.

Oh yeah it also has that 5 switch if that's gonna be a problem

The neck should be fine. Try swapping a ceramic, either regular or thick into the bridge pup. You won't regret it.

EMG 81's work pretty well for djent, as do the blackouts

Black Winters do the job really well, too. You can compare them directly with some of our other heavy offerings on the main website.

Black Winters are my favorite Seymour Duncan "Metal" pickup, the nazgul, sentient, pegasus release was really lack luster for me, I wasn't impressed with any of them but the black winters were great!

I'm sorry, when you say "Djent", I'm assuming you're referring to Metal music, right?

With the right amp and playing style, there are many options.

never tried the 57-66 set. But they would be about my first choice, even over the black winters for djent.
New update, I will install EMG 81-85 set, any thoughts??

Re: Pups for djent

Any mid range high gain pickup will get you there. 10kish

The Pegasus would be what I would run. If I wanted a SD pickup.

Transition and Titans are fantastic from Dimarzio. Transition can get you there with more versatility .... Titans bleed Djent.
It's hard to get Pegasus set in here....
I'd really love to try Titans but same problem exists
