Pups for my Lexie

Hey folks!

Have been thinking of replacing my first guitar pick ups. Is it worth it? It's a really cheap axe and I love it, but I am not sure of how much better it can get.

There's a clip below so you can compare with others. I would like to get that tone, but with more 'scream' and improved quality. Should I change something else before replacing pick ups?

It has basswood body, maple neck and a home-made fixed bridge (I hate cheap tremolos)

It sounds like the JB would be a good fit for your style and what you're looking for. But the Full Shred sounds phenonemal in basswood - I'm sure you'll get varying opinions on how the JB would sound in it but if it were me I'd probably go for one of those two.

Probably by tomorrow I could get a JB. So I would try to post a clip with the very same settings and backing track to show how much it changed.
