I've been using DR's since the mid 90's and I don't use anything else.

A good buddy of mine swears that they don't intonate well but I think he's crazy. :sad:

Associating a type of strings with a particular genre is what companies WANT you to do.
Don't do it because it doesn't mean anything.

I do however keep a framed 2x3 picture of Brooke Shields on my pedalboard to improve tone.

Well you're friend isn't crazy because I too had intonation issues with the DRs(Not on all strings)...There are "alot" of posts on forums about the issue also..Same guitar and D'Addarios and I don't experience these issues..

It would give me a chance to try Elixers.

Don't get me wrong,I Like the DR Pure Blues and had used them for years...Then recently I started having problems intonating them..People say it's something with the windings unwrapping or something...If you do a search on the net for "DR Pure Blues intonation issues" you'll see there have been alot on the topic..Tonally I like these strings though.
