Push/pull 500k volume control that drops both the vol/tone pot from 500k to 250k?

I have a LTD maverick with a duncan designed single coil hot rail in the neck and a hb103 in the bridge. I added a coil split to the tone pot, and the sounds I can get out of the two pickups are so good I didn't bother swapping out the pickups for a SD hotrail/full shred combo I was planning on.

I hear mixed opinions on using the hot rail style pickups with 500k vs 250k tone and volume pots. I really want to have the option to use either when experimenting with sounds, can a push/pull volume pot achieve this? I know I can just solder resistors across either pot to drop the value but switching is preferable.

I was going to add a treble bleed circuit too but can't decide on which one.

Sounds to me like all you need to do is switch the resistor (the one you're going to put "across" the pot) on and off. Or open circuit to closed circuit. Or you could put a dual concentric tone pot in. You could have 500K for one pickup and 250K for the other. There are other possibilities. As for a treble bleed, try the vintage style wiring mod first. Just move the tone pot lead from the input lug to the output lug on the volume pot. Works for some people, including your's truly.
