Hi everyone,

I have an old 2009 Epiphone Les Paul that i want to upgrade as a personal project and i was wondering if i can install push pull pots with the Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico ii pick ups?

I already have the SD Slash pick ups that i bought a few years ago i just never got around to installing them.

Welcome to the forum!

Both the original Slash and the Slash 2.0 have single conductor wire, so stock, they couldn't use a switch to make them split or in parallel. You'd have to convert them to 4 wire pickups.

Hi Mincer, thank you for the welcome and your response to my question.

I thought as much, i did Google my question originally and found out basically what you said, i was just hoping i guess. I think i will stick with the original SD Slash 2.0 pickup set up for now when i install them, besides i've not even heard them yet. many thanks.

Well, it could be done, it is just very delicate surgery unless the pickup was initially ordered with 4 conductors. But hey, Slash doesn't need any of that stuff! haha!

Let us know how you like the pickups when you get them installed!
