Push/Pull wiring diagrams need help plz!

I'm going to do my first Push/Pull wiring but is puzzled from the SD's wiring diagram. Can someone here please explain to me what does it do?

First, with 1 volume PP and 1 tone

I know this one does coil split on the pu but is it inner coil split or outer coil? and how do I wire it so I use tone pp instead of volume pp?

2nd, with both volume pp and tone pp

what does this wiring do? when volume pot pull(coil split?) tone pot pull(series/parallel??) when both V&T pull???

unlike dimarzio daigram the SD diagram doesnt tell you what the wiring do but I find the SD wiring diagram more clear and easy to follow.

The first diagram is for using one push pull to split both pickups.
The second diagram uses one push pull for each pickup separately.
