Push-push Tone Pots

HI , everyone, i have not had time to post here ,i work 2x jobs during the warm season, but i'm back for the winter... anyway , i'm looking for a push-push T/Pot to replace the push pull in my new(may -05) CTM6 Carvin, i would like to find a Good Quality one any help will be appreciated, thanks ....rammer

Warmoth also sells push/push pots, but you can't buy just one, or even two for that matter, because they have a $25 minimum order. Good pots, though, I'm using them in my MIM Tele with a tapped QP set.

I've never had much luck with the push push pots. The detent broke after less than 3 weeks of playing on it, and I wasn't being rough at all.

I'd stay away from them personally, especially for any knob that falls anywhere near your picking hand. It's quite easy to accidentally turn them on. They also tend to be rather flimsy.

I should follow up my first post in this thread... I no longer have push/push pots in my tele. After going through two sets I went to push/pulls. Inside the push/push is a spring and a plastic catch. After a while that catch fails, and the spring keeps the switch in he "up" position. I concluded that the design was severely flawed and that while I don't like the operation of push/pull as much, it certainly beats rewiring a guitar every 6-12 months when the push/push eventually fails.

That said... my original post directed you towards Warmoth. They sold them then, and they still sell them according to the website. Minimum order still applies.

The day you (or anyone else) find GOOD quality push/push pots that won't fail after a while PLEASE DO tell me so I can go and buy a dozen or two :9:

Yeah well pushpulls fail too, got a flakey one in my strat to swap. Hot that from hoffman but I suspect they are all the same...no US manufacture left. Sigh.

old thread, but I found some at mojo tone, & they work just as I wanted, no problem as long as when removing the knob make sure that the push/push is in the up position , I have only messed up one , & I have them in 10 gtrz., I use them to split the neck pup for clean tone

Man, push push switches used to be so terribly made- they would last about a year, and that's it. It looks like they got a lot better. I am using a few S1 switches, which are expensive but hold up for a long time.

I have been using them since 2005, in multiple guitars, I only have one that is sometimes faulty(doesn't always stay in down position) completly my fault, I forgot to have it up position & was removing the knob..
