I put the Epi LP bridge p'up in the neck....and it is far better than the original neck pickup.
I noticed that the Epi neck pickup had an oval label on the bottom that said "LP bridge". I was so unsatisfied with the original neck pickup, so I pulled out, and sure enough its oval label says "Dot neck/bridge LP/neck!
I put the Epi bridge pup in the neck position with the chrome poles towards the bridge (to maintain proper phase) and was rewarded with a far better tone! Is this the ultimate neck pickup? :laugh2: No way! It does provide an improved tone for $0 cash.
Overall, it raised my neck position satisfaction rating from a big fat zero, to a 4 or 5 on a ten scale.
