putting floyd on mim strat??

how hard is it to put a floyd rose on a standard 2006 mim strat, will i have to drill new holes. never done any of this kinda stuff before so please help!

If your have skills as a Luthier, not that hard. If you dont, I wouldnt suggest doing it yourself. You would be better off selling that guitar and buying one that has a Floyd from the factory. The price of the OFR unit and labor would be more than the cost of the same guitar on the used market and close to the price of the guitar new!

I still have to fix a strat i messed up putting a Floyd on..... lucky it was a POS that has 0 re-sale value anyways.... it was a good guitar to practice this mod on... but i messed up bad... I'm glad i didn't try and put a Floyd on my MIM Strats.....
