Does anyone know how the Gibson SG standard (modern collection) is routed under the pickguard? I'm wandering if it's just a rectangular cavity or is it routed the same as a SG without the full guard?(wood left in the corners for the rings to drill into) I'm wanting to add a pickup ring to the bridge pickup to get it closer to the strings.
