Putting this here, because I want a lot of people to see it...

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
So, the dog ate that little fuzzy/felt/soft pad on the kick drum whatever you call it on my electronic Alesis set. The thing that slaps the trigger.

Can you get a new kick-drum-pedal-pad or whatever it is called? Drummers MUST lose, damage or wear those things out sometimes???

The one on an Alesis Nitro set Kick pedal/module.

Like this. The little white do-dad on the "beater" if that is what it is called. I'm a guitar player who owns an e-rum kit. The language is foreign.

Like Steve said use a tennis ball or better yet replace it with something better.

That is called the beater. Easy fix. Replacements are out there. Or use a tennis ball. Hell, get some felt and replace the felt that is on there now. Anything that is soft but firm will work.

No worry about the dog?

Maybe if you rubbed the dog's belly you wouldn't be in this predicament.

Hey! I rub the dog's belly every morning. The routine is Dog jumps on bed, gets petted, gets belly rubbed, starts biting, gets breakfast, then she goes out for morning pee.
