Ive been using labellas 13to56 on my 335 and while i like the tension on the right hand i find that weirdly the labella 15-56 flatwounds on my 175 feel spongier. The labella rounds also feel kinda "sticky". I do like the ballsy sound tho.
So ive taken a punt on the Pyramid hand wound set in 12-54. They come with both a wound and an unwound G - i still havent made my mind up which i prefer after 30 years of playing guitar! lol
Apparently these things feel spongier than normal strings. Ive ordered 3 sets. Hopefully these will be good. Ill report later, but feel free to chime in with your experiences.
