qp + jb

can anyone say what type of output the sd quarterpound pu may have in the mid position compared to my full hum jb in the bridge?? will the qp be louder than the jb?? how about the 2nd combined sound?

I had a JB combined with a QP in both the neck and middle of my Genny at first. The QP definitely is stronger than the JB, but it was still a nice sound. I opted to change the JB for a C5 which I like better. The QP still is stronger than the C5, but its a closer match. I use "tapped" QP's though, so I can morph them into a more classic single-coil tone.

The QP's are great pups, but I do prefer the versatility of having them tapped.
