Quarterpounders

I have a set of 3 Quarter pounders that I am about to install in my Strat. The label on the back says 4R on all three of them. Does this mean they are all rw/rp and for the middle position. How can one find out if a pickup is rw/rp?

Unfortunately no. These are old pickups and they all have two leads.

How can one find out if a pickup is rw/rp?

Put the tops of two pickups together... if they are attracted to each other then the magnetic polarities are reversed (which is good); if they repel each other then the magnetic polarities are the same (which is bad).

If the magnets are of opposite polarity you can usually switch the wires around (if necessary) to make the pair RWRP.
