Question about a possible set-up.

Hey this is my first post. Quick question:

Would this setup WORK?

Line 6 Pod Pro &
Mesa 20/20
those 2 in a soft rack going thru
a Mesa 4x10 Rec Cab.

Would this setup work out of the box and stuff? Would I still have stereo capabilities ? Would I have to add anything to make it sufficient?
sorry if these are newb questions. Please post improvements to this, I can't really think of something better. I want to have a versatile setup and still be able to record thru a PC. Any Ideas or Suggestions oh wise gurus of the SD forum?

Re: Question about a possible set-up.

I'm using something similar:
J station into a stereo power amp out to 2 cabs with one speaker in each and it is stereo of course, still I have the digital out from the j station to be connected to the digital input on my sound card.

You can connected it the same if you got a digital input in your sound card.
Using 1 cab will give you mono sound unless you can split your speakers cab and run each 2 of the speakers with each output from your amp , i.e. left output >> 2 speakers , right output >> 2 speakers.
I think you got that mono/stereo switch at the back of your cab for that, am I Wright ?

BTW, how do you like your 20/20 ? is it ok for home use ? I'm planning to get my self one and I'm deliberate with the 50/50 as it has low power mode taking it down to 15/15 which is better for home use I think. Comments ?

You'll be stereo capable but you'll need 2 cabs to pull it off.

I know the Mesa 4x12s are stereo cabs, and if the 4x10s are the same he'll be alright. (Or, he could wire the 4x10 into stereo himself)

I have not bought these things yet. I 'fell' into some money and I plan on getting them soon. I haven't tried the 20/20 yet. I've tried similar stuff though. I've been told that the 20/20 is very loud because of the Dyna-watt technology.
