Question about DI'ing my ENGL straight to PA...can i do it?

My ENGL Savage 120 has a balanced XLR out at the back of it. Would this be fine to put straight into a 400 watt PA desk, at least i think thats what they are in the rehearsal studios...samick or yamaha desks.

Anyone know?

yes, that's what it was designed for, although on most amps, the sound just isn't the same as using a mic-the only amp I have used that way was a H & K
that had a Red Box built into it- my Marshall sounds awful through the PA just using the DI/balanced line out.
