Why is the Chrome Bobbins version so much more expensive

How does it affect the tone?

And do you think this would be to high output to pair with an antiquity neck/mid

The list price of the chrome bobbins Mike lists at $179.00, he is selling it for $119.00 I am guessing it is a speciality for Dimarzio.

It shouldn't effect the sound. Not worth the money for the chrome bobbins.

I have bought 3 hard to get pickups from BanjoMike, he has done me right all 3 times.

Yeah, I just read they mentioned him in the other DMZ thread. Things come in pairs I guess.

I try to go back to those who treat me well. Loyalty is important.
