nice... so it sounds like it kicks a lot of ass.. I like the sound of it. And I'm guessing it'd be good to pair it with a Jazz? that's what I was thinking, but any other ideas would be good. The neck would be used mostly for clean stuff, maybe some old metallica, but it has to have a lot of high end crunch under distortion, and be articulate without being thin.

The Custom is kick ass. PAF like burning, I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it... :32:

So, it HAS that deep PAF tone. I hear some say that the Custom doesn't have that deep character. I like PAF tone but I want high output so that matters for me because I'm about to buy one.

PAF On steroids, definitely the perfect description. Not quite as deep or full of character or intelligence, but with upper arms that scare you enough that you don´t notice
