question about fret wire??

I'm lookin' to build a strat with a conversion neck(Gibson) from Warmoth. Was wondering what would 6000 gauge fret wire feel and sound like on a strat neck vs. a gibson neck? The only description I've found was "scooped". What exactly does that meen in terms of feeling and sound? I'm trying to build a guitar like Jimmy Herring's strat with 59' SDs. Any or all help would be greatly appreciated.

try a Jackson out with their huge frets to get an idea how they feel.... a lot of Jacksons have 6000 6100 sizes...
