Question about humbuckers

Well, I have a ****ty bc rich beginners guitar..and I have a question about the pickups..Are you supposed to be able to tip them from side to side?? lol..Because I don't think so, but I don't know since I haven't owned other electric guitars before...If you don't understand my question I will try taking some pictures of that crap.

I think I understand your question Sune. Yes, this is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. At least I hope not, my guitar does it too.

Seriously though, if you have pictures it would be helpful to post them, just to clarify.

Do you mean they rock back and forth a little or they can actually tip out?

I'll take a picture of it, actually it's not the only question I need answered, I have some problem with the neck humbucker, in one side it's lower than in the other side, I'll take a picture of that too, because obviously I'll need that fixed..I don't know how it happened, because I haven't done it. But wait a moment and I'll post some pictures.

If they're mounted to a ring, you can remove the 4 screws in the corners that hold the ring onto the body and you actually can see how the pickup is raised and lowered, and the spring that retains the tension on both sides.

You should be able to rock the pickup from the neck to bridge, you'll also probably be able to push the pickup down and feel the resistance of the spring. If one side is lower than the other, you can turn the screw on the low side clockwise and the pickup will raise. If the pickup is loose in the ring, remove the ring, find the spring inside the pickup cavity, mount the spring, the screw and the pickup mount just like the other side.

That's normal. There are two screws that control the height of the pickup. One of them is visible in that picture, behind the knob and in front of the picture (relative to the point of view). Your pickup is wobbling because it is balanced on that screw. If you turn that screw, you can raise and lower the height of the bass side of the pickup.
