question about Jimmy Page wiring diagram

the two volume knobs split their 2 respective humbucker pickups. but the red and white wires are connected to different terminals. will this make the up-position on one of the volume knobs full humbucker mode?

When you "pull" the knob, those two terminals connect together. It doesn't matter which wire goes on which terminal. Granted, however, that for the sake of diagrammatical neatness, they could've drawn it better.
