Question about lil 59 in Tele

Hi, I was guided to this forum for help on this situation:

I just installed a lil 59 in the bridge of a new MIM Tele. The bridge alone sounds great, the neck alone does as well, but with both pups switched on the sound is tinny and quieter. Im assuming its out of phase? What can I do to fix this?

Thanks in advance

Just curious ,are you using the stock 250k vol. pot? I`m gonna be putting the Lil59 in my Tele very soon , what kind of tone can I expect?

You need to reverse the hot and ground wires on one pickup only. Seeing as it's a Little 59 with no bassplate to worry about, you could reverse the connections on the bridge pickup easiest and just do it inside the control cavity.

I like 500K pots with JB JR and Little 59 pickups, as does Robert S. But they're meant to work fine with 250K pots too.

Thanks that fixed it. The sound is great with the stock 250k pots. Sounds much sharper and more defined than the stock single. Great with distortion. Good harmonics. Cant compare to 500k pots though, never heard them set up
