question about my amp

Ok, I'm pretty new at playing guitar but I have a question.
I only have a Marshall MG10CD amp (10 watt practice amp), my question is just; is it possible to plug a pedal into this little thing? Would it work if I plugged a pedal into the "CD input" ??

Like a distortion or effects pedal? Sure. Just run your guitar into the pedal. Then run a cable from the pedal to the amp's input. Make sure your amp is on the clean channel. Good luck.

Yes a distortion/effects pedal. And thanks for your answer, I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't ruin my amp by doing it.
