Question re: wiring

Apologies for, what is probably, a very obvious question (first time replacing pickup).

Steinberger Spirit HSH 5 way switch- replacing the bridge pickup.

Can’t seem to find accurate wiring diagram for the stock pickups.

Can see 2 wires from pickup; 1 hot going into switch, 1 bare (which I’m assuming is ground) soldered to the switch casing.

For SD, I’m guessing black to switch, red & white taped off, with green & bare soldered together and grounded to switch casing?

Does that sound right?

Yes! That is right. BTW I have a Steinberger Synapse that I like very much.

Thanks both. Managed to successfully install - screamin demon sounds great! Not sure about my soldering skills though!!! Thank the heavens for insulation tape. Hides a multitude of sins.
