I'm only going by Duncan's website, I have no SD covers to measure. Did you click on the link above that shows the specs on Duncan covers?

Let's say that after fifteen years repairing and modding p'ups and guitars, I have a pretty good idea about what works with what, and your complain about the StewMac covers not fitting the SH p'ups just didn't make any sense, as I've personally use'em in excess of two hundred times with Duncan, Gibson and other boutique offerings using the 49.2mm polepiece spread standard.

So, the only conclusion is that you got the wrong spacing on the StewMac covers.

49mm pole spaced covers will work. You can find them in chrome, nickel, and gold just about anywhere (including Amazon and ebay).

You either didn't measure your pup pole spacing accurately, didn't order the correct covers, or you don't have the pups you think you do.
