What's the diff between the "standard" Barden pickups and the "deluxe" Barden pickups?

Were there "standard" and "deluxe" versions of both the Tele and the Strat pickups?

Thanks! Lew

Re: Questions about Joe Barden Pickups:

I think only the Strat had a standard and deluxe version. The standard fit under a strat pickup cover, deluxe had no cover.

Are they both rails type pickups? If so, there'd be no polepieces to go through the six holes in the covers. :) Thanks! Lew

Re: Questions about Joe Barden Pickups:

I have a Barden Catalog sent to me in Dec '96; It listed :

The Danny Gatton Tele at $130/ea.
The Strat Deluxe Neck/Middle or Bridge at $130/ea.
The Strat Standard Neck/Middle or Bridge at $90/ea.
The Lg HB Neck or Bridge at $130/ea.
The Lg HB Two/Tone Neck or Bridge at $155/ea.

"The Strat standard is a variation of the Strat Deluxe which fits into a stock pickup cover, for players who wanted to maintain the original appearance of their guitar. The tone is similar to the Strat Deluxe, with the output falling somewhere between the Deluxe and a stock pickup."

All pickups were double rail pickups, the Standard was flush with the pickup housing, while the Deluxe arched above the pickup slightly.
