I'm wondering

1. What's the diff between the Tim and Timmy?

2. I heard you can only order via phone, but don't have the #

3. How much are the tim pedals?

Thanks

Oh, that's right. They're rather strict about that kind of thing. Hmmm…

I have a .Mac account through Apple, so I just use that email address.

Hokey as this sounds, if you don't have access to an address other than something like Yahoo! or Gmail, you could PM me the questions, and I can post them to The Gear Page for you.

Re: Questions about Tim and Timmy Pedals

The Tim is the Timmy plus a boost side and an effects loop I believe. The Timmy is just the OD side. I've never even seen any since they're US only stuff but I sure wish I could get a Tim. They're really well priced direct but there's a year long if not more waiting list and people are selling these second hand for over twice what they sell for... not cool if you ask me but eh, law of supply and demand.

The guy who does them is called Paul Cochran I think, you can get his number on the Gear Page as it's been mentioned.

I think the Tim is around 200 bucks, the Tim between 100 and 150... no idea to be honest.

Re: Questions about Tim and Timmy Pedals

Paul Cochrane makes them and he has no site-just works at home (I'm told). ANyway, he's a great guy with a solid product for sure. the thing that stinks about those pedals is that they're hard to come by and you essentially have to purchase with some blind faith and hope it's more than the hype.

the gear page is a great place to learn alot but there's some fickle folks over there. Wait another few weeks and they'll be onto something else.

LOL, I went ahead and got on the list. It's much cheaper $159 to just get on the 4month wait list(according to his wife as of today) for a Tim. I figure if I don't like it, i'll just double my money on ebay.

Re: Questions about Tim and Timmy Pedals

It sounds liek you found out what you needed to know, if not feel free to PM me and I'll help you out. Also, FWIW, don't expect 4 months unless Paul has gotten WAY caught up recently...

True! The same thing goes for other ODS, like the Landgraff, Klon, Honey Bee.

Keep us posted bro!
