Quick Bias Question

Am I correct in thinking that if an amp is cathode biased I could just pop in a new set of tubes without any problems.

Perhaps. Chances are it will be okay. But it's best to have the bias checked by a tech after you've changed them. Then again, if you're going to do that, have him change them and check them on the spot. Especially if you've invested in expensive tubes, you don't want to blow it (whoops, pun unintended).
