Re: Quick dirty blues tune ...

Good Job, Nice liquid phasing. :D I can't remember where I got the BT from? But how Ironic is it 2 guy's named Ken post the same BT with in the same week?:18:
Your version charted pretty high. I think mine made it to #52 last week. Best Wishes, Ken

I picked mine a randowm from a hundred backing tracks to illustrate recording a guitr with an MP3 track (for another forum). I'm not sure where I got from either. I'll go listen to yours ... I haven't been posting so much lately.

Duh I didn't notice the link right in the message. That's very cool. Which kit did you choose? I have a Brown Note D'Lite 22 kit on order taht will be my first build. Maybe too much amp for the first build but that's the one I wanted in the end ... wish me luck. Did you enjoy the build experience? What should a newbie look out for?

Hi Ken, Mine was not a kit. I did it piece meal so to speak. (Read post #15 in my thread) The D'lite 22 seems like a real cool amp. I don't know how much of a background in electronics you have? My best advise is to go slow and enjoy your build. Forget instant gratification ! Looks like a some what complicated build? Feel free to PM me if you have and ??. And check out www.hoffmanamps.com Sign up for there forum board. There are many knowledgeable guy's over there that will gladly help you if should hit a brick wall during the build or debugging. Hopefully the Brown Note people offer good tech support, And stand behind their product. Best of Wishes with the build, Ken

Re: Quick dirty blues tune ...

thanks ... the Mark 1 has been my only amp since '78 ... before that Ampeg, Fender & Marshalls. I like the original Mark a lot. I do have a Brown Note D'Lite 22 kit on order but I'll not part with the Boogie ... ever ... a simple straight forward amp.

Re: Quick dirty blues tune ...

Thanks, Strange Sound ... I only rarely use a pedal. But the pushed mid's from the TS9 were kind of fitting on this one. :13:
