Quick question for those using a power supply to power their pedals

As you might know if you read my thread asking for help with an mxr supercomp I just ordered, I also have a Dunlop DC brick on order to power all my pedals. My question is, should I leave the batteries in just incase? Or should I take them out? Please tell me what you do!

Re: Quick question for those using a power supply to power their pedals

I don't have baateries in any of my pedals and I use a one spot. This powers everything on my board for $25. Its a daisey chain type of power supply. It has a lot of adapters that allows you to power some unusual pedals as well. It even has battery adapters to connect to pedals that don't have a 9V adapter. I have been using them for about 5 years with 3 different pedal boards and I have not really had any trouble. One of the one spots I had started to get a little noisey, I called them and they sent me new one. I like them and they are cheap enough to keep a spare in my gig bag!

Take the batteries out if you don't plan to use them. You don't want to forget it is there as batteries can leak when they get too old.

You might want to keep a few batteries on hand though in case you lose, forget, break or just find it impractical to use a power supply. Options are nice.

Perfect, batteries will be out when it comes in then! With spares in the bag. Thanks
