Anyway to keep a heavy pedal on a pdealboard? Like with a Wah. I heard some people use plastic ties, but I dont see a way to,
Also, dont really see a way to drill. Maybe just put velcro on it and take it off if you move the board?
What about something like a heavy Russian big muff Pi that would fall off the pedalboard when picked up and tilted if just velcro'd? Any way to tie or drill down these or just heavy weight pedals in general?

Get some really strong velcro?

I used to move my pedalboard all the time and I just put a bunch of velcro on the back of the wah and it stayed on fine. I use 3m brand velcro.

That wouldnt work, not wih a Pedaltrian. The wah is so heavy it would just fall off when the baord was picked up and tilted or carried in its carrying bag.

I can tell you as an owner of a Pedaltrain 2 board, a wah, and a plate on the wah like the one in the link, that it DOES work. I use industrial strength velcro from Home Depot. I can hold the pedalboard upside down and that wah isn't going anywhere. I have to really pry the thing up to get it off the board.

Thanks Agileguy and Erik H, And Andrew Lamprecht. I'll give it a shot!

Yep that's the ticket .... pay $26 for a roll of the two inch wide stuff!

I use velcro and always have...works for me...

Just don't keep your board too close to a power supply, maybe thats the issue...

Re: Quick Question -Heavywieght pedals 2 Pedalboards

Depending on the base of the pedal. What I am considering doing is mounting an aliminum base to each pedal that has a tab that extends beyond the edge of the pedal. This tab can then be screwed to the board. This obviously won't work with all pedals but most(like Boss and TS9, wahs and tuners).

That's a good idea, man. That'd work really well for something like a Rat, where the base of the pedal is raised off the ground by four little rubber feet, one at each corner. Screw it to a plate, screw the plate to the board and sorted. Nice.

Re: Quick Question -Heavywieght pedals 2 Pedalboards

I don't understand why you'd have that issue. I have a pedaltrain pro, I took off the rubber feet from my crybaby and put velcro underneath... that's pretty much all I did. it doesn't fall off or anything.
