How to the Antiquity Texas hot singles compare to the Fender Texas Special pick ups??

In my experience, Fender Texas Specials are loud and dark. Antiquity Texas Hots are loud and clear.

The SD Texas hots are smoother than the Texas specials, if I remember correctly the Fender Tx specials had a stronger deeper bass to them and more treble. I've never been able to get a great sound with Distortion out of the Texas Specials but that might just be me, the Duncan's do that better in my opinion. I did like the clean tones and the 2 and 4 positions with the Texas specials, they seemed to have more "bite" or jangle.
