Okay... then I'll support everyone else's vote for the DSL.

In the meantime, take your 30 watt Vox to a gig - put it on a chair (make sure the amp is off the ground) and wind 'er up. See what it will do.

I swapped out the stock 10" speaker in mine for a Jensen C10Q. That seemed to really open the amp up a bit more. It's not an expensive speaker - somewhere around $45 IIRC.

Might be a cheap way to live with your Vox while you decide exactly what you want next.

Replacing the speaker with one that has 100 dbls or more will increase the volume. .

also note: the Super Champ XD is NOT 25 watts, it's only 15 watts. .
