Quick Saddle Question

I'll be replacing the saddles in my Strat soon. I've noticed the little hex screws that adjust action (height) in the high E saddle are broken. Will I need to unscrew those completely to remove it? If so, how should I go about it, as a hex key will be of little help?

You can unscrew them from the bottom of the saddle and replace them with new ones. Personally, I'd use this as an excuse to get the new Graphtech steel saddles. They're regular steel units with a polymer insert where the string rides. :burnout:

Nah. Putting in some brass saddles on the high E string and possibly the B to tame some highs, and make them less shrill.
