quick test/new riff

sorta made up a new riff, but it reminds me of something so it's probably inadvertently a ripoff. is it a KISS song or what? and why do I keep making up shuffle riffs?

anyhow - I tried using my old bell single 6L6 as a power amp by running my jmp-1 through the input. it actually works ok. the bell adds a bit of OD to the tone.

Shuffles are tough -- they always sound like someone copying someone else lol. I liked the tone ... single 6L6 should do just fine for recording! I do most of my high gain recording with a Champ, which is a single 6V6 ... and it has plenty of grind & balls.

The chords at the end of the riff distinguish it from whatever it sounds similar to, and it's got a good strong character/vibe to it, so I'd say roll with it.
