Quiet Graphic EQ pedal?

I guess I never noticed it until last night, but my EQ pedal has a lot of hiss when I turn it on. It's a Behringer, so that might be part of it, but I seem to recall that my old Boss EQ was noisy and it's basically a clone of that pedal. Any suggestions for a graphic EQ that doesn't make you think your amp is full of snakes when you kick it on?

The Boss GE-7 will have less hiss than the Berringer due to higher quality parts being used.

If you want even less noise and a slightly more "real" sound try the AnalogMan modded GE-7

MXR 10 Band. That's what I use, and after having all ten parameters, I couldn't go back to a 7 band. There's just not as much control.

If you want even less noise and a slightly more "real" sound try the AnalogMan modded GE-7

The stock GE-7 I used to have was very quiet, as well. Pretty sure mine was Taiwanese, for those who may think you need a Japanese unit in order to get a good one.

These pop up on the used market and are good values.

I haven't tried the MXR 10-band, but I'd definitely check it out if I were in the market for an EQ.

+1 for the MXR 10 band. I've never heard any noise/hiss at all through mine.

I've heard really good things about the Source Audio EQ.

I reviewed one a while back. The Source Audio EQ sounds great and has some features that are not generally available on EQ stomps. There are 4 presets which is awesome, the unit is midi and there is a 12db boost. I also find Source Audio's stomps to be extremely quite.
