Selling a nice aftermarket Strat body with a Quilt Maple top and a really cool finish! Bought this from another forum member for a project, but ran out of time to work on it, so off it goes...
I'm pretty sure this is a licensed Mighty Mite body, but there are no markings. Weight is average and I believe it is constructed of solid alder. H-S-H routing allows for any combination of Humbuckers and Single Coil pickups to be used. The bridge mounting holes are set up for a Vintage-spec Fender Tremolo bridge, but can always be filled and drilled for any bridge type. Has 11-hole mounting for a pickguard, but I'm not sure which models fit (American, Mexican, etc.). The color is a really unique Transparent Red (more of a vintage red than a bright red) with a solid Black burst and Black back. The chrome strap buttons pictured ARE included!
This body is in really nice shape overall with a super-glossy finish. The only "issues" worth mentioning is that there is a small split across the bottom bridge mounting hole (very common, see close-up pic below) and the neck mounting holes are slightly elongated, however, neither of these conditions affect the function of the body or can be seen when the body is assembled.
Great for a project or replacement on a budget!
