Quintessential JB records?

Isn't Jeff Beck's "Blow by Blow" more or less the original JB/Jazz used throughout the album?

Funny, as it doesn't sound like a typical JB to me. I am sure it is the original, but if any JB I tried sounded like that, I'd dig them.

I believe the original TeleGib was a JB/A2 with a Jazz/A5 neck? My JB/A2 sounds like a loud Whole Lotta Humbucker, not like any peaky JB. It's a beautiful sound with everything on 10. Doesn't require any EQ'ing. The TeleGib guitar itself was a 1950's ash body/maple neck, so I think the brightness of that guitar balanced the warmth of the A2 JB bridge.

Isn't all of Bark at the Moon a JB, or am I mistaken? Also Rock n Roll Rebel is a pretty awful song.

From what i have seen in many old post here on the forum, the "JB" used on that album was actually an Allan Holdsworth double screw with an A2 mag.
