Squier Katana. This model was my very first electric guitar. I bought a used one at a music store in Duluth, MN for $125 when I was 15...1988. Rocked the hell out of it for several years before graduating to a Gibson Flying V. I still have the body and neck, but I redid the headstock and used the neck for a different guitar. The tip of the "V" broke off years ago...not sure if I still have the broken piece or not.
I'm really curious as to what this person is basing his price off of. They are certainly nothing special, and really aren't that rare. Sure, more rare than a strat style squier, but this ain't no Moderne or some other artsy original. It is Fender's attempt at getting some of the "pointy guitar" market of the mid 80s.
There's been one of this on my local CL for several months. The guy was asking $350 or something, and it was "refinished" (HA!)...still too high of a price if you ask me.
