Not trying to hijack, but did you use the attenuator with the SS carvin power amp? Did that do anything for the sound? I didn't know SS amps acted on the same principles of needing to be cranked up a bit. Thanks (I'm thinking on the attenuator BTW)

I used the attenuator on a tube amp with no effects loop and used the line out of the attenuator to a delay and then to the Carvin amp. This gave a dry amp and wet amp set up. It sounded huge but too much for the venues I play.
