I just ordered a set of Hot rails and a Duncan custom for my B.C. Rich, I actually like the old style hot rails a little better than the new, the new one is too shiny for my liking.

Whats this you guys are talking about the high E getting stuck in the pup?

those people need to start drinkin decaf .... i never could understand how you can hit a string so hard that it gets stuck under there... or how can one have a pup set that close to the strings

I have to say that I like the old ones better. The new ones would be cool if you had the option remove the cover to change from black or white.

:laugh2: yeah i agree WTF is going on with their picking style?
I can see if say you dive the trem like Vai or something where the strings are all slack then i can see the string getting caught under there but just from normal
playing? :smack:

I gotta admit, I like the look of the old ones better also.
The plastic on the new ones make them look "cheap-ish". :blackeye:

I like the old ones too, but I bet you won't be able to tell the difference from three feet away, once they are mounted in the pickguard. Do the new Hot Rails have a shiny finish? Mine has a very flat finish which doesn’t match up with the glossy Lil 59 and Ducky.

Now, do I buy a set of white Rails/Lil's before the new ones come out? I have 'til March, right?
