What was the difference between the 200 and 200 II? I had a Century C-170 and it sounded nothing like Dimebag's tone, I remember being really pissed after buying it via mail order through Litz Music back in 1991 FULL STACK with two 4x12 cabs.

To be honest, I can't tell a difference between the two. This thing has Vulgar and Driven tones all over it. Way more gain than my old Rg80Es and it warmer, too.
As for whether Dimebag used the C200ii or not, here's some proof:

That first pic looks like the wharehouse in Dallas that stored Panteras gear in the early 90's, Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar, it even had their stage in it. It was Gemini Lighting company, my Brother in Law worked for them, I could have taken a head and no one would've missed it... was seriously a lot of gear in one place!
