Random Want: Straight Razor

I'm looking on getting into the old school way of shaving. Anyone have a straight razor they don't use or just want to be rid of? I'd take a strop/wetstone setup too if anyone has one to be rid of as well.

Damn. I wish you had asked me this about two years ago. I was the staff photographer for an estate sales company at the time, and at one point we had a lot of about 50 of those things...

they're really not too expensive, get a plastic one to test it out. it's a much cleaner shave. i have yet to perfect the upper lip shave, i still use a regular mach 3 for that.

I hope to go a little upper line first off, or a vintage one that is of good quality. I'd like to not have a bad experience with a too-cheap blade.

Ah ok, leather strap and all? I have a few of them of different levels, some i use for touring, so i dont lose the better ones, but they all work great, it's all in the wrist.
