Randy Rhoads Les Paul

Re: Randy Rhoads Les Paul

yes, aimed at collectors and costing a mint..

What always suprised me about watching Randy play, was how he pushed the headstock and body in opposite directions to get a tremolo effect. I always wondered if it would have eventually broken, had he had longer to play it?

Re: Randy Rhoads Les Paul

Where is Randy's original white custom anyways? I wonder if gibson got ahold of it and are using it as a model for the replica? I know that's what they did with slash for the AFD les paul replica

Dolores Rhoads still owns it, from what I understand. That said, I SINCERELY doubt they'd make a period-correct Norlin with a pancake body, 3pc neck, and shallow top carve. There are faaaaarrr to many elitist cork sniffers that insist all Norlins are dogs.

...even though I love mine.

Re: Randy Rhoads Les Paul

I don't get it, this is a guitar forum, not a collectors one so what does this piece of news have anything to do with us anyway?

(Some mild jesting that nevertheless clearly communicates my view in this matter)
