No, it's not the one Randy owned, but this is the coolest Marshall I've ever seen on Craigslist. I can't believe it's the whole matching stack in perfect condition.

For sale is this 1979 Marshall 2203 JMP Mk. 2 Master Model Lead 100w amplifier head in White with the original matching set of both the straight and slant cabinets. This incredibly rare amplifier, serial number 07199L, is best identified as being the exact model and color made famous by Randy Rhoads. In fact, Marshall recently reissued a limited edition reincarnation of this amp under the model designation 1959RR, which sold for over $3,800.00 by itself, and has since become discontinued.

This example is perhaps the finest original matching set in existence in the most attractive combination of white elephant tolex with small check grill cloth. All speakers are original to the (2) cabinets, and all components (transformers, caps, tubes) are original to the head.

To those looking for a better deal, I first propose you find another.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

$9,950

Re: Randy Rhoads Marshall stack on Craigslist

That dude must have bought that and immediately stuck it in a closet and kept it there.

Removed - I wonder if it was a fake ad using catalogue photos.

Re: Randy Rhoads Marshall stack on Craigslist

Hmmm. I don't know about the authenticity of his ad, but at least I got a gallery of pics out of the deal.

Re: Randy Rhoads Marshall stack on Craigslist

Awesome, I'd love that. White stacks are sexy things.... what can I sell......

Nothing that a Crate full stack and a box of whiteout wouldn't give you.
